What claiming means#
A DISPO preview is a working website that already has an address. It sits at its preview address and stays free to keep there. When you decide the site suits your shop, you claim it. Claiming is a short form. You write a one-line description, confirm your opening hours and add a note if something needs explaining. Those details are then placed onto the site, so the words describing your shop are yours rather than ours.
Claiming is the step where the site becomes something you are responsible for. Read the description carefully before you submit it. Check every opening hour against the door of your shop. A small error on a public page is easy to fix, but it is better to catch it before anyone sees it.
What changes on the day it goes live#
Two things change when a site goes live. First, the site is no longer kept out of search. Previews are kept out of search engines until the owner claims them, so a claimed site is the one that can be found when people search. Second, the site becomes yours to point at. You can keep the preview address, or move the site to a domain you own, so that people type a name you choose rather than a long technical link.
Moving to your own domain is a matter of pointing that address at the site. It does not change what the site says. Take the time to open the address on your phone before you share it with anyone, so you see the page as a customer would.
What stays the same#
Much of the site stays as it was in the preview. The page titles, the descriptions, the sitemap and the share images are already in place. Each branch of your business is described with standard structured data that tells search engines a location, its name and its hours. The structure you reviewed in the preview is the structure that goes live. Cloudflare Pages hosts static sites, and the preview itself carries no hosting fees.
Your responsibility for accuracy also stays with you. A live site is not a finished one. Your hours will change at holidays, and your description may need updating as the shop changes. When you change something, keep the site and the details you give customers in agreement.
Rules and checking#
Thai rules limit how cannabis may be advertised, so check your plans with a lawyer. Keep your description to plain facts about your shop and its location. If you are unsure whether a word or an image is allowed, stop and ask before you publish. This is general information, not legal advice.
When you are ready, read the live page once more from start to finish, as a stranger would. Check the title, the hours, the description and the share image. Then decide whether the site helps your shop. The preview stays free, so there is no need to rush, and the choice to claim it is always yours.
