What "no hosting fees" means

What is free#

A DISPO preview is free, and it stays free at its preview address. The preview is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, a service that hosts static websites, so there are no hosting fees for it. Owners can move the site to their own domain whenever they choose.

Looking at the preview costs nothing but your time. If you decide not to go further, the preview simply remains at its address, and you have lost nothing. Free hosting means the preview itself carries no hosting charge from us.

What you hold#

The site can be exported to your own GitHub and Cloudflare accounts. The export includes the site's assets, its credits, and a README that explains how the pieces fit together. In other words, the code is yours to keep.

Holding the code matters because a website is an asset of your business. If you move to a new domain or simply want to understand what you have, you can open the files and see exactly what is there.

What could cost money#

The one thing that could ever cost money is a domain name. A domain is the address people type into a browser. Domains are registered through a registrar and renewed over time, and that fee goes to the registrar. If you choose to attach your own domain to the site, that renewal is the cost to plan for.

You do not need to buy a domain to use a preview. The preview address works without one. When you want your own address, you choose the registrar and you hold the registration in your name, so you can move it later if you wish.

Rules to check#

Being free to host does not mean being free of obligation, so the content of your site matters as much as its address. Thai rules limit how cannabis may be advertised, so check your plans with a lawyer. Keep the wording on your pages factual about your business.

This note is general information and not legal advice. Before you publish anything about your shop, check the current requirements with a lawyer, because those rules can change.
