Why every branch needs its own page

A shop with several branches gets a page for each one, with a map pin, so customers can find the branch they plan to visit.

Why each branch gets a page#

A shop with more than one branch can be hard to describe on a single page. Visitors usually want to answer one question: which branch is nearest to me? A single page listing every branch makes them search through text to find the answer. A separate page for each branch removes that step.

In the DISPO setup, a shop with several branches gets one page per branch. The site also shows a map with a pin for each branch, so a visitor can see the whole network at a glance and then open the page for the place they want.

What sits on each page#

Every page is built from the same parts, filled in with that branch's details. It has a page title and a short description, which are the lines a search engine often shows under a result. It also has structured data that describes the branch as a local business, which helps search engines understand what that branch is.

Each site also includes a sitemap, a file that lists the pages so search engines can find all of them, and a share image, which is the picture that appears when a link is posted somewhere else. Taken together, these parts describe each branch clearly to both people and software.

Keeping branches distinct#

Each branch has its own page, so the details for one branch stay separate from the others. Each branch's page holds its own details, so a mistake in one place does not spread to the others. It is worth reviewing each branch's page regularly so it stays in step with the real place.

Before a site is shown to the public, its preview is kept out of search results. The owner can review the pages first and claim them when they are ready. This gives the owner time to look over every page before anyone outside sees it.

Rules and next steps#

Thai rules limit how cannabis may be advertised, so check your plans with a lawyer. DISPO explains how a site is built and what each part does, but it does not give legal advice on what a shop may say.

If you run more than one branch, the practical first step is to list each branch's details and note any differences between them. With that list ready, it becomes simpler to see how many pages you need and what each one should contain.
